About Mahavatar Babaji

Babaji supposedly originated in Tamil Nadu, India. From an early age, he was drawn to spiritual and religious practices. He moved away from home to seek out more information about Kriya Yoga, meditation, and yoga in the Himalayan forests. He attained numerous Siddhis as a result of his diligent effort and deep meditation. Babaji is believed to have mysteriously materialized in front of Lahiri Mahasaya and offered him his teachings at this cave. Paramahansa Yogananda was among the several disciples that Lahiri Mahasaya taught his teachings to. People first learned about Mahavatar Babaji through his “autobiography of a yogi”, which he penned. In it, Paramahans Yoganand revealed numerous stories about Babaji. Today, there are many devotees and followers of Babaji also called Kriya Yogis.

Day 01 – Delhi to Dwarahat

Your trip will start in Delhi, where a private vehicle connected to us will pick you up. After that, you'll go to the New Delhi Railway Station to board the NDLS-KGM Shatabdi Express train, which will take you to Kathgodam. The train is scheduled to depart at approximately 6:30 am. Our driver will meet you when you arrive in Kathgodam, and you will then head towards Babaji's cave while admiring the verdant, breathtaking views of Ranikhet and Nainital. You might stop at the nearby Neem Karoli Baba Ashram to meditate or have a leisurely stroll. After that you will move forward towards Dwarahat which will take 5-6 hours. Reaching there, you can have your dinner and rest for the night.
Day 02 – Visit to Babaji’s Cave

You will travel to Kukuchina village after breakfast. The cave is reached after a 3 km off-road ride and a 2 km trek. The hike can be a little difficult, so wear comfortable, light clothing and hiking shoes. When you finally get to the cave after making your way through the lush, dense forest, the tiny, mysterious water features and winding ascending pathways will astound you.

The cave is believed to be an ideal place to meditate and perform Kriya Yoga. You can also explore the nearby areas. Finally, you will make your way back to your accommodation by trekking down to the starting point.
Day 05 – Kukuchina to Delhi

You will travel via Ranikhet and Nainital on your way to Kathgodam station today. You will board the train to New Delhi Railway Station. It will take 5-6 hours to reach Delhi by train. Our driver will drop you off at your address when you get there. Here, the journey comes to a close with priceless memories that will last a lifetime.
