Day 1: Arrive Dehradun fly to Kharsali – Harsil

Welcome to Chardham Yatra by helicopter. On arrival at Dehradun proceed to Sahastradhara helipad early morning fly to Kharsali for Yamunotri Dham. On arrival start trek to Yamunotri shrine on foot or by Doli (Palki) / pony ride up to temple. After worship return back to Kharsali. In afternoon further fly to Harsil. On arrival drive to Gangotri Dham by road. After performing worship & homage to mother Ganga. Evening return back to Harsil. Overnight stay at Harsil.
Day 2: Harsil – Kedarnath – Badrinath

Today early morning fly to Kedarnath. On reaching at Kedarnath, visit temple and perform worship and Abhishek to Lord Shiva. Later after breakfast fly for Badrinath. On arrival check into hotel. Afternoon visit the temple and perform worship to Lord Badrinath. Later proceed for local sightseeing of Mana village near Badrinath by Ac Cab. Overnight stay at Badrinath.
Day 3: Badrinath – Dehradun

Today bid farewell to your Chardham Yatra tour. Early morning visit temple for morning Abhishek ceremony to Badrinath ji. After breakfast takeoff for Dehradun. Here your tour ends with happy memories as drop to Sahastradhara Helipad Dehradun for your onward destination.

Things to Know

Terms & Conditions

The quality of accommodation available at Yamunotri and Kedarnath is just above average and so passengers should not have very high expectations. You will be offered with a 3-star accommodation at Harsil and Badrinath.

You are permitted to carry only 5 kg baggage along with you. Due to the limted space in the helicopter there isa provision of not allowing suitcase as a baggage so don’t carry suitcase with you. Passengers bringing excess baggage might not be allowed to take the same in the chopper by pilot.

Any kid who is more than 2 years shall be charged with full ticket cost.

There is no provision of concession to children or senior citizens.
The booking has to be done in advance with a deposit of 50% of the charter amount and balance amount has to be deposited 14 days prior to date of journey.
In case the journey is not finished within the stipulated time and passengers are not able to visit one or more Dhams due to bad weather conditions/technical reasons then the company will try to visit all places within the stipulated time. Although if this is not possible then the liability of the company will be limited to refund of unutilized sector/s.
Rescheduling of booking to a next date will be done subject to availability and on payment of 10% of the cost. This will be permitted only if applied 7 days before journey date. In case the rescheduling is requested with less than 7 days to the journey then booking will be treated as cancelled and a fresh booking will be given subject to availability.
The Company reserves the right, without assigning any reason, to cancel, advance, reschedule, over-fly or delay the commencement or continuance of the flight. Without incurring any liability in damages or otherwise to the passengers or any other person on any ground whatsoever. The Company reserves the right to refuse to carry any person whom it considers unfit for travel or what in the opinion of the company may constitute risk to the aircraft or to the persons on board.
BAD WEATHER SITUATION: If you are stuck in a bad weather situation on any particular day out of the 5 days we will still try to finish the darshan on next day. In case we are completely unable to visit any dham due to bad weather situation we will refund proportionate money. This means that if due to any reason we are unable to do 2 dhams then we will refund the amount Acc. to flying time.

If passengers wish to cancel their booking, then they will have to pay following cancellation charges

Upto 30 days before journey – 30% of amount
Upto 20 Days before journey – 50% of amount
Upto 10 Days before journey – No Refund

Ans: At a time only 6 people are allowed inside the helicopter where 1 of them will be a helicopter.

Please give me information about the ground transfer procedures including which are the places where I will be required to do it?

In the dhams of Yamunotri, Gangotri and Badrinath you will be made to transfer to the temple via a ground transfer in a taxi which will be provided with us and will also be included in the helicopter yatra package.

Yamunotri – You will be transferred from the helipad at Kharsali to the Yamunotri dham via a palanquin or a pony ride.

Gangotri – Gangotri temple is situated at a distance of almost 25 minutes from the helipad at Harsil. For ground transfer we will be providing you with a taxi service which will drop you directly at the main entrance of the temple.

Badrinath – You will be provided with a personal taxi service which will transfer you from the helipad at Badrinath to the main temple of Badrinath which is situated at a mere distance of barely 100 metres.

Q 11: When Is The Most Appropriate Time To Avail The Helicopter Services?

Ans: You are free to avail the char dham yatra by helicopter anytime you like during the open months of travel which stays open for a duration of 6 months.
