• Day 01 – Shirdi Sightseeing

  On the first day of the tour, you’ll arrive at Shirdi from Pune and feel the spiritual vibes of this place uplifting your soul. Our representative will greet you warmly and transfer you to a premium hotel. Complete the check-in formalities and relax in your room for a while. After some time you’ll get ready for a sightseeing tour of Shirdi. You’ll first visit the Shani Shingnapur Temple which houses Lord Shani’s self-manifested idol. It is a live temple where abhishekam and pooja are conducted on a regular basis. The unique thing about the village where this temple is located is that no houses have doors as the locals believe that if anyone tries to attempt a theft they are punished by Lord Shani. Lord Shani is present inside the temple in the form of a black stone. Devotees can bathe the black stone idol of Lord Shani with oil. It is believed that Lord Shani protects the villagers from thieves and burglars.

  After offering your prayers to Lord Shani you’ll head to Shirdi Sai Baba Temple which is the most popular spiritual site in the city. The temple is dedicated to one of the greatest saints, Sai Baba, and attracts followers of all religions. The temple complex spans around two hundred square meters and comprises all modern-day facilities like Prasadalay which serves dinner and lunch, Darshan Lane, Prasad Counters, Canteen, Donation Counters, Railway Reservation Counter, Book Stall, and others. The two main pujas - The Satyanarayan Pooja and Abhishek Pooja are conducted in five and three batches here. After seeking the blessings of Sai Baba you’ll return to your hotel and have a relaxing sleep.

• Day 02 – Travel to Aurangabad and visit Ajanta

  Savor a delicious breakfast at your hotel and then pack your bags as you’ll head to Aurangabad. Aurangabad gained significance when Aurangzeb, the last Mughal emperor, declared the city his capital from 1653 to 1707. It houses many temples, architectural ruins, and scenic attractions. After arriving at Aurangabad you’ll be transferred to your pre-booked hotel and you’ll complete all your check-in formalities and then freshen up. After you feel fresh you’ll visit Ajanta Caves, one of the most famous ancient Indian monuments. They comprise twenty-nine rock-cut monuments and have been built with the support of people from different religions. The Archaeological Survey of India maintains and protects these caves. You can learn about the techniques and methods used to dig out the magnificent burrows by visiting these caves. In the evening you’ll get back to your hotel and have a soothing sleep.

• Day 03 – Exploration of Ellora Caves

  Start your day with a mouth-watering breakfast and then go for the exploration of Ellora Caves. Along with Ellora Caves, you’ll also visit the Daulatabad Fort, one of the best-preserved heritage sites in Maharashtra. The fort is constructed on a two-hundred-meter-high rock formation spanning over nearly a hundred hectares area. Yadava king Bhillama V built the Daulatabad Fort in 1187 AD. Some of the prime attractions of this fort include the Chini Mahal, Bharat Mata Temple, the Moon Tower, and the Aam Khas building. The Chand Minar is among the three tallest minarets in India.

  You’ll next visit the Ellora Caves which have inscriptions dating from the sixth century CE onwards. The Ellora Caves are celebrated for their Jain, Hindu, and Buddhist monuments and temples which were carved in the sixth to eighth century CE from the local cliff rock. The Hindu Ramesvara is the earliest cave dating back to the sixth century CE. After visiting the Ellora Caves you’ll head back to Mumbai as the tour will finally come to an end.
