• Day 01: Delhi – Arrival -Varanasi – Sarnath Sightseeing

  On the first day of the tour, you will arrive in Delhi, and catch a flight to Varanasi. After reaching Varanasi you’ll meet our representative who will warmly welcome you at the airport. You will then be transferred to your pre-reserved hotel. Complete your check-in formalities and then relax for a while in your room. After the delicious breakfast, you will head to Sarnath which holds immense significance for the Buddhists. It is the place where Buddha gave his first sermon after achieving enlightenment. As you arrive at Sarnath its unique spiritual aura will fill you with a new energy. You will visit the prime attractions of Sarnath like the Buddha Temple renowned for its tranquil ambiance and the Dhamekha Stupa that Emperor Ashoka erected in 249 BCE. After the exploration of the Dhamekha Stupa, you will head to the Mulagandha Kuti Vihara and the Chaukhandi Stupa which are known for their architectural grandeur and rich history. You will also visit the Archaeological Museum which offers an insight into the region’s rich history. It houses various artifacts that recite the tale of Buddhism.

  In the evening you will visit the Sri Lankan Buddhist Temple to witness the Evening Ritual Ceremony. This is an experience that will remain etched in your heart forever. As the day comes to an end you’ll head back to your hotel and have a tasty dinner. After the dinner, you will have an overnight stay at your hotel.

• Day 02 – Varanasi - Boat Ride -Drop to Varanasi Airport

  On the second day of the tour, you will prepare yourself for the Subah-e-Banaras experience. You’ll first enjoy a boat ride along the Ganges in the morning. During the boat ride you’ll pass through the sacred Ghats of Varanasi and catch the stunning view of the sunrise. You will pass through the Manikarnika Ghat which is known to be the largest cremation ground in the world. Another Ghat that you will witness during the boat tour is the Harishchandra Ghat where rituals associated with the afterlife and death are performed. Absorb the spiritual vibes emanating from these Ghats and feel an intense connection with the ancient rituals and traditions of the city. After the scenic boat ride, you will get back to your hotel and have a hearty breakfast. Later, you will embark on the spiritual exploration of Varanasi. You will first visit the Buddhist Monastery where you will meditate and learn about the secrets of life. Alternatively, you can also attend a preaching session or sermon by a Buddhist Monk.

  As the day comes to an end you’ll say goodbye to the divine city of Varanasi and our driver will drop you at the Varanasi Railway Station or Airport from where you will continue your forward journey. As you head to your hometown you will take back new experiences along with you and have a sense of fulfillment.
