This special event happens every 12 years. It is mentioned in the Puranas, during Pushkaram, Guru Brihaspati increases the holiness of the river. Taking a holy dip here washes away sins and grants salvation (Moksha), not just for the person but also their ancestors.
Saraswati Pushkaram 2025 will take place from May 15 to 26 in Mana village, near Badrinath. It is believed that the Saraswati River meets the Alaknanda River at Mana village, which is popular as the ‘’first village of India’’ close to the Indo-Tibetan border.

Day 1- Haridwar/ Dehradun -Rishikesh-Pipalkoti (200kms/7 hrs)
Welcome to Haridwar/ Dehradun. When you arrive at Dehradun/Haridwar Airport or Railway Station, our representative will meet you and assist you. You will go by vehicle to Rishikesh for sightseeing. Visit the famous ashrams, including Ram Jhula, Laxman Jhula, Shivanand Ashram, Gita Bhavan, and Parmarth Niketan. Then, you will drive to Pipalkoti, stopping at Nandprayag, Karnaprayag, and Rudraprayag. On arrival, check into the hotel.
Day 2- Pipalkoti - Mana Village - Saraswati Pushkaralu - Badrinath (80 kms / 4hrs)
In the morning, proceed to Badrinath (Mana). When you reach Mana village, take a holy dip in the Saraswati River, perform Pooja rituals, and do Pind Daan Shradh for your ancestors. Now, explore Vyas Gufa, Ganesh Gufa, and Bhim Pul in Mana village. Then, return to Badrinath, check into your hotel, take a dip in Tapt Kund, and visit Badrinath Temple. Make sure to purchase tickets for the Maha Abhishek and Abhishek ceremonies at the temple. Stay overnight in Badrinath.
Day 3 - Badrinath - Srinagar (200 kms/ 8 hrs)
Next day, visit the temple and pass through the colorful entrance. Inside, you will have Darshan of Badrivishal along with other statues of Ganesh, Kuber, Garuda, Narada, Uddhav, Nar, and Narayan. There are also small temples of Laxmi Mata, Nar-Narayana, Hanuman, Ghantakarna, and Kamdhenu. You will be offered ‘Charnamrit’ (holy water) inside the temple. Then, get into the vehicle and proceed towards Srinagar. After arriving in the evening, check into your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 4 - Srinagar- Devprayag- Haridwar (120 kms/4 hrs)
Drive to Devprayag, where the Alaknanda and Bhagirathi rivers meet. After your visit to Devprayag, go to Haridwar. Visit Har Ki Pauri for a holy dip in the Ganges, the Mansa Devi and Chandi Devi Temples, famous for their stunning views. You can also enjoy the evening Ganga Aarti. After sightseeing, we will drop you at the Railway Station or Bus Stand, ending the journey with happy memories.
