• Day 01 – Bhavnagar

  Your spiritual expedition will start as you arrive at Bhavnagar airport or railway station, where our tour representative will welcome you with open arms and transfer you to your pre-booked hotel. Freshen up and then head out for an exploration of the city. You will first visit the Gandhi Memorial which gives tribute to Mahatma Gandhi, the Father of the Nation. Next, you will visit the Gandhi Smriti Museum to learn about the philosophies preached by Mahatma Gandhi. Next, you will appreciate the beauty of Gaurishankar Lake. You will then head to the Takhteshwar Temple to learn about the religious heritage of the city. End your day by visiting the Water Lock Gate which offers insight into the rich maritime history of Bhavnagar. You will then head back to your hotel for a relaxing overnight stay.

• Day 02 – Bhavnagar -Palitana Jain temples- Bhavnagar

  Your second day will be dedicated to the full-day excursion to the Palitana Jain temples which are situated at a distance of around 51 km away from Bhavnagar. Palitana is a very revered site for Jain devotees, as it houses the Shatrunjay Hill which is beautifully adorned with around 900 big and small Jain temples. These temples give tribute to the twenty-four Jain Tirthankaras and are appreciated for their religious fervor and architectural splendor.

  As per the legends, it is believed that Palitana was visited during the Mahabharata era Pandavas and here three of them got Nirvana. This place is also called Siddhakshetra, where you can attain Moksha. Among the 900 temples, the most famous one is the Digamber Jain Temple which houses nine shrines adorned with revered Tirthankaras idols. In the evening return to your hotel and have an overnight stay.

• Day 03 – Bhavnagar

  Enjoy a mouth-watering breakfast at your hotel and then you will be transferred to Bhavnagar airport/ railway station to catch your flight/train for your onward destination. This marks the end of the spiritual expedition that will remain engraved in your mind forever.
