On the ninth day, you can choose from two different options for your journey to Badrinath from Govindghat.
Option 1: This option is perfect for you if you have spent the night in Govindghat. Savor a hearty breakfast in the morning and then check out from your hotel as youâll go on a scenic drive to Badrinath. The enthralling journey will take around two to three hours. After arriving at Badrinath, you can take a bath in the Tapt Kund which has water with medicinal properties. You will go for the Darshan of Badrivishal who is Badrinath Templeâs main deity. In the evening, youâll attend the Aarti that will uplift your soul and purify your thoughts. You will also visit Brahma Kapal which holds relevance for Pind Daan Shradh. You can also explore other prominent sightseeing places around Badrinath, like Mana Village, Bhimkund, Mata Murti, Charanpaduka, and Vyas Gufa. All these destinations are within three kilometers of Badrinath. At night youâll have a tasty dinner and then you will have an overnight stay in Badrinath.
Option 2: You can go for this option if you have trekked back from Kedarnath and spent the night in Sitapur. In the morning you will check out from your hotel and embark on the soul-uplifting journey to Badrinath covering around 180 kilometers. En route, you will stop by Ukhimath, which is Kedarnath Jiâs winter abode. After reaching Badrinath, you will take a bath in Tapt Kund, witness the evening Aarti, and have the Darshan of Badrivishal.
The exploration of places like Mana Village, Brahma Kapal, and Vyas Gufa will remain the same as in Option 1. You will have a tasty dinner and an overnight stay in Badrinath.
