Day 01 – Arrive at Delhi

Your tour will start as you arrive in Delhi and meet one of our representatives who will welcome you wholeheartedly and assist you in transferring you to your pre-booked hotel. You will check in to your hotel and rest for a while. Have a tasty dinner in the evening and have an overnight stay at your hotel.
Day 02 – Delhi - Lucknow – Shravasti

Relish a tasty breakfast at your hotel and then check out from your hotel as you will be transferred to the Delhi Railway Station where you will catch a connecting train for Lucknow. After arriving at Lucknow you’ll meet our representative who will make all the arrangements to transfer you to Shravasti. Post arrival at Shravasti you’ll check in to your pre-reserved hotel and have a relaxing overnight stay.
Day 03 – Shravasti – Lumbini

Post a yummy breakfast you will visit Mahet and Sahet, the twin cities that hold great relevance for the Buddhists. These important Buddhist sites attract visitors from all across India. In Sahet you will see the stupas from the Kushana era and temples built in Gupta architectural style. In Maheth you will see the ramparts and ancient city gates. Later you will enjoy a scenic drive to Lumbini and en route, you will stop by Kapilvastu which is known to be the Kingdom of King Suyodhan. After arriving at Lumbini you will check in to your hotel and have an overnight stay.
Day 04 – Lumbini – Kushinagar

Have a yummy breakfast at your hotel and then get ready to visit Lumbini which is hailed to be Lord Buddha’s birthplace. You’ll also visit the Maya Devi Temple which is known to be Lumbini’s spiritual heart. As per the scholars the Maya Devi was built on an Ashokan stupa. You’ll also visit the Ashokan Pillar, a UNESCO World Heritage site situated outside the Maya Devi Temple. It is the site of the First Sermon of Gautam Buddha, Here Buddha shared the Four Noble Truths. Later you’ll enjoy a scenic drive to Kushinagar. After arriving at Kushinagar you’ll check in to your pre-booked hotel and have a delightful stay.
Day 05 – Kushinagar – Patna

Enjoy a lip-smacking breakfast at your hotel and then get ready to visit the Mahaparinirvana temple and Ramabhar stupa. Ramabhar stupa is the site where Lord Buddha was cremated. Buddha also attained Mahaparinirvana or salvation at Ramabhar stupa. Mahaparinirvana temple is one of the holiest Buddhist sites with a 6.10 m tall statue of Buddha. The highlight of this temple is a fifth-century reclining Buddha. In the afternoon you’ll drive to Patna and en route, you will visit Vaishali. After arriving at Patna you will check in to your pre-booked hotel and have an overnight stay.
Day 06 – Patna – Bodhgaya

Have a scrumptious breakfast at your hotel and then prepare yourself for a scenic drive to Bodhgaya. After arriving at Bodhgaya you’ll check into your hotel. Embark on the sightseeing tour of the city in the afternoon. The first destination you will visit is the Mahabodhi Temple which was constructed on the eastern side of a sacred tree. Mahabodhi Temple is one of the most famous Buddhist sites. It is also considered to be the symbol of enlightenment. The temple boasts a blend of different architectural styles. The main temple structure is one of the finest examples of Indian brickwork, adorned with beautiful carvings depicting the life and teachings of Gautam Buddha. Inside the temple complex lies the sacred Bodhi Tree where you can meditate to experience solace and bliss. As you enter the main temple you will get to see the throne-like Vajrasana. It is the exact site where Gautam Buddha attained enlightenment. The temple’s inner sanctum houses the Buddha’s colossal gilded image in a meditative posture. When visiting the temple offer your prayers and circumambulate the main temple. In the evening you’ll get back to your hotel and have an overnight stay.
Day 07 – Bodhgaya – Varanasi

Have a lip-smacking breakfast at your hotel and then go on a scenic drive to Varanasi. After arriving at Varanasi you will check in to your hotel and destress yourself. Have an overnight stay at your hotel.
Day 08 – Varanasi

In the morning you’ll enjoy a boat cruise at the Ganges River and learn about the lives of the locals. Later you will go on an excursion to Sarnath. Sarnath holds great relevance for the Buddhists as Buddha delivered his first sermon here. The prime attraction of Sarnath is the Dhamek stupa complex the place where the excavated ruins are situated. It contains the well-preserved Dhamekh Stupa and the Buddhist monastery remains, the Dharmarajika Stupa, and the Ashoka Pillar. You will also visit the Mulagandhakuti Temple which was constructed in the year 1931. It is a temple and monastery that commemorates the original Mulagandha Kuti Vihar and is renowned for its striking murals and frescoes. The Ashoka Pillar is one of the most popular sites in Sarnath constructed by King Ashoka. On the top of this pillar is the Lion Capital which has become India’s National Emblem. In the evening you will return to your hotel and have an overnight stay.
Day 09 – Varanasi – Delhi

Enjoy a luscious breakfast at your hotel and then you’ll check out from your hotel and meet our driver outside your hotel. The driver will transfer you to the Varanasi airport from where you will catch a connecting flight to Delhi. After arriving in Delhi you will meet our representative who will transfer you to your pre-booked hotel. Have an overnight stay at your hotel.
Day 10 – Depart from Delhi

Enjoy a luscious breakfast at your hotel and then you will be transferred to the Delhi international airport to catch a connecting flight for onward destination. This will also mark the end of your tour. You’ll head back to your home taking back happy memories of the trip.
